Biography of Anna Maria Jopek

Anna Maria Jopek is a Polish singer, musician, and producer. She is best known as the official representative of Poland at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest. Anna was born into a musical family, with her father, Stanisław Jopek, being a member of the folk group "Mazowsze" and known as the "First Coachman of Poland". Her mother, Maria Stankiewicz, specialized in dance. Anna's sister, Patrycja, is also a musician who plays the violin.

Anna Jopek received her education at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she completed her studies in piano in 1994. She then continued her education at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, focusing on jazz music.

In 1997, Anna represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Ale Jestem". She placed 11th out of 25 participants. In 1999, she once again represented Poland, this time at the Olympic Conference in Seoul.
