Hanna Zamazii: A Trailblazing Ukrainian Leader
Early Life and EducationHanna Zamazii, a prominent Ukrainian political figure, was born on October 26, 1980, in Mykolaiv. She holds a Bachelor's degree in "Finance and Credit" from the European University and multiple Master's degrees: "Public Administration and Administration" from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, "Political Science and Public Administration" from National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy," and "Economics" from Odesa National Academy.
Career in Finance
Zamazii spent 19 years in the financial sector, holding managerial positions for over 14 years. She worked as a lecturer at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, teaching Finance and Credit and Banking.
Civic Engagement
In 2007, Zamazii joined the international non-profit organization Rotary International, which focuses on education, economic growth, and healthcare. She also served as the Chairperson of the Mykolaiv branch of the "All-Ukrainian Association of Financial Companies."
Political Journey
In the 2020 local elections, Zamazii was elected to the Mykolaiv Regional Council as a member of the "Servant of the People" party. On December 9, 2020, she was appointed Chairwoman of the Council.
Head of State Energy Agency
On March 10, 2023, Zamazii became the Head of the State Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Agency of Ukraine. In this role, she is responsible for promoting energy efficiency and conservation initiatives in the country.
