Biography of Anne Dudek
Anne Louise Dudek is an American actress of Polish descent. She is best known for her role as Amber Volakis in the television series "House". Anne Dudek was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Newton. Her father is a Polish architect. She graduated from Northwestern University.
Career
From the mid-1990s to the end of 2001, Dudek appeared in various Broadway productions. After her success on Broadway, Dudek began working in television. She could be seen in "Desperate Housewives" (as Brandi in Season 1), "How I Met Your Mother" (as Ted's girlfriend Natalie in Season 1, Episode 4), "Friends", "Charmed", and the series "Klava, davai!". In 2007, Dudek joined the main cast of the television series "House" as Amber Volakis, who becomes known as "Cutthroat Bitch" or "Two-Faced Bitch". She also played the sister of the main character in the series "Covert Affairs".
In 2012, she appeared in the series "The Mentalist" (Season 5, Episode 6).
Personal Life
From 2008 to 2016, Dudek was married to artist Matthew Heller. The former couple has two children together - a son named Akiva Heller (born December 2008) and a daughter named Saskia Heller (born February 2012).
