Anna Kremar is a Luxembourgish tennis player and a member of the Luxembourg political movement 'Democratic and Liberal Youth'. She has been actively involved in politics for some time. In 2009, Anna even ran for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, but unfortunately, she only managed to secure the 15th place in the party's rating.

Early Life

Anna Kremar was born in Luxembourg to Jean, an engineer, and Ginette, a physical education teacher. Her younger brother, Gilles, also tried his hand at professional tennis for a while and even coached his older sister before transitioning to sports consulting. Anna attended school in Luxembourg and later enrolled at Stanford University, specializing in English language and history. During her time as a student, Kremar represented the university team for two years and even helped win the NCAA championship title in 1997.

Tennis Career

Anna Kremar made her debut in the singles category of a Grand Slam tournament in 1996 when she reached the first round of Wimbledon. Throughout her career, she has participated in Grand Slam tournaments in both singles and doubles events, with varying degrees of success. In the doubles category, she has not been able to advance beyond the first round. However, Kremar has reached the third round three times in the singles category – twice at Wimbledon in 1999 and 2004, and once in France in 2002. She has never progressed beyond the second round in the Australian Open and the US Open. Kremar's highest ranking in the singles category was 18th, achieved on July 29, 2002.
