Ann Savage: One of Britain's Leading Hard Dance DJs
Ann Savage has firmly established herself on the global club scene as a renowned and sought-after DJ in the hard house, hard trance, and techno genres. Originally from Burnley, Lancashire, she is a revered figure in the UK scene and regularly performs throughout England, as well as internationally, including Ibiza.

Early Life and Influences
Raised in a musical family, Savage attended West End Girls' School in Blackburn and studied classical music with her sisters. However, her older siblings exposed her to a wide range of genres, including punk, disco, and soul. Savage began clubbing at the age of 15, joining her sisters in exchange for doing their ironing.

Musical Evolution
Having experienced various musical eras, Savage even played guitar in a band and penned songs and poems. Drawn to northern soul, she spent weekends attending gigs by Scooter, The Pogues, and Ska.

The Underground Calling
While living and working in Bolzano, Italy, Savage was introduced to the underground party scene through her sister's phone calls describing illicit acid house and rave events. Attending one such event at age 17, she felt an instant connection to the movement and its ethos of unity and love.
Musical Career
Savage recorded her first record under the alias Destiny Angel, releasing four tracks on Automatic Records. Her DJing career has taken her to numerous countries, including Italy, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Austria, Norway, Finland, Germany, and Greece. She gained a significant fan base in Toronto, Canada, becoming one of the few international DJs to grace every major club event in the city.
Collaborative Success
In 1998-1999, Savage embarked on a South African tour alongside DJ Goldie, Grace Jones, and The Weather Girls, performing to a crowd of 33,000 in Johannesburg. In 2010, she teamed up with renowned hard dance producer BK to release "Pandemic," an EP that has become a staple in club music for the past decade.
