Early Life and Career
Born into a Lithuanian family, the actor spent his early years in Lithuania. However, in 1951, he was accused of anti-Soviet activities and exiled to Siberia. He was later rehabilitated in 1956.
Education and Return to Lithuania
Following his return to Lithuania, he pursued his passion for the arts and enrolled in the Kaunas Music School in 1957. After graduating in 1959, he joined the Kaunas Music Theater.
Kaunas Dramatic Theater
In 1959, the actor became a member of the Kaunas Dramatic Theater, where he has remained throughout his career. He has starred in countless plays and established himself as one of Lithuania's most renowned stage actors.
