Two years later, he stormed into the top 10 at the Inowashira stage, securing an impressive seventh place in parallel moguls. Triumph at Méribel and Olympic Participation

A significant milestone came in December 2008, when Cavet claimed his first World Cup podium finish on home soil in Méribel, placing third in parallel moguls.
