Eisley made his big-screen debut in 1952, appearing in the film "Fearless Fagan". Rise to Fame

However, Eisley's breakthrough came with the lead role in the television series "Hawaiian Eye", which aired on ABC from 1959 to 1963. After his performance in the play "Who Was that Lady?", Eisley signed a contract with Warner Bros. At the studio's request, he changed his name from "Fred" to the more impactful "Anthony". Despite anticipating comedic roles, Eisley was cast as a private detective in "Hawaiian Eye" and handled the role successfully for three seasons. He was eventually replaced, reportedly due to issues with the executive director of advertising.

Later Career and Legacy

In 1964, Eisley worked on the project "Prayer" at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Thanks to the efforts of the project's agents, the US Congress was flooded with thousands of letters in support of school prayers. Eisley was joined in this initiative by Walter Brennan, Rhonda Fleming, Lloyd Nolan, Dale Evans, Pat Boone, and Gloria Swanson.

One of Eisley's most memorable film roles was as Griff in Sam Fuller's "The Naked Kiss", a biting satire that mercilessly exposed the hypocrisy of small-town residents. He further solidified his success with roles in "Lightning Bolt" (1965), "The Navy vs the Night Monsters" (1966), and "The Doll Squad" (1974).

Anthony Eisley passed away from heart failure in 2003 in Woodland Hills, California. He was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.
