Vassileva's quest for knowledge continued as she pursued advanced training at the Barcelona Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa in 1997 and the London City University Business School in 1997 and 1998. She further enriched her academic background by attending the Asia Pacific University in Japan in 2005. In 2000, Vassileva earned her doctorate in economics from Bulgaria and in 2002, a doctorate in business administration from the United States.

Academic Pursuits and Teaching

Vassileva is a highly respected professor at the University of National and World Economy, where she holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Politics, a post she has held since 2011. She teaches courses on various aspects of international and regional business and international marketing at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
