Biography of Anton Zemlyanukhin
Anton Zemlyanukhin is a Kyrgyzstani football player and midfielder for the Thai club "Sukhothai" as well as the Kyrgyzstan national team. He started his football career as a youth player for the Kyrgyz club "Abdysh-Ata" in the city of Kant.
In 2007, Zemlyanukhin moved to the first division Turkish team "Giresunspor" and signed a contract until 2012. During his time in Turkey, he was recognized as one of the top 20 most promising foreign players in the country. Additionally, in 2008, he signed an endorsement deal with Nike.
In the middle of 2009, Zemlyanukhin had a conflict with the president of "Giresunspor" and temporarily left the team, returning to "Abdysh-Ata" where he played for the rest of the year. In March 2010, he joined the team "Taraz" on a loan. He scored his first goal in the Kazakhstan championship in the 8th round against "Zhetysu". After the season, he extended his contract with the club and was ranked 42nd among the top 50 best players in the championship.
In the summer of 2011, Zemlyanukhin returned to "Abdysh-Ata" as he was unable to continue his career in Kazakhstan due to injury. From 2007 to 2010, he played for the Kyrgyzstan national team.
