Moratti was born into a family of industrialists. His father, Angelo Moratti, was the owner and President of Inter Milan during the club's "Golden Era" from 1955 to 1968. Moratti has five children and is married to Emilia Bossi. His brother Gianmarco's wife, Letizia Moratti, was the former mayor of Milan.

Football Career

Moratti's involvement in football began when he became the owner and President of Inter Milan in 1995. He oversaw a successful period for the club, during which they won five Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies. He stepped down as President in 2004 but returned in 2006, holding the position until 2013.
