Early Life and Education
- Antonio Paolucci was born in Rimini, Italy, on September 29, 1939.- He studied art history at the University of Florence under renowned art historian Roberto Longhi.
- Paolucci later interned in Bologna with Francesco Arcangeli, another acclaimed scholar.
Career in Ministry of Culture
- In 1969, Paolucci joined the Ministry of Culture as an inspector for the Historical and Artistic Heritage Office in Florence.
- From 1980 to 1986, he held various positions in Venice, Verona, Mantua, and Florence.
- In 1988, he became head of the Office for the Preservation of Artistic and Historical Heritage in Florence, Prato, and Pistoia.
Minister of Cultural Heritage
