Early Life and Education
Estonian opera and operetta singer Annely Peebo was born on (date of birth not provided). She received her early musical training at the Tallinn Music School in 1959. In 1963, she graduated from the Tallinn Music College (now the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School) in vocal studies. She further pursued her education at the Tallinn Conservatory (now the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater), graduating in 1968 under the tutelage of V. Guryev.
Career as a Singer
Peebo began her career as a choir singer in 1963. From 1967 to 1996, she was a soloist at the Estonian Theater of Opera and Ballet (now the Estonian National Opera). In 1971-1972, she undertook an internship at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, studying under Renata Carosio.
During her illustrious career, Peebo performed as a concert and chamber singer. She participated in renowned vocal-symphonic works such as Bach's "St. John Passion," Haydn's "The Seasons," Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater," and Britten's "Illuminations." Her talent earned her critical acclaim both in Estonia and abroad through international tours.
Teaching Career and Honors
Since 1984, Peebo has dedicated herself to teaching at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater. She is a respected honorary graduate of the "Indla" corporation.
