Early Life and Influences
Aparna Brielle Parthasarathy was born on February 5, 1994, in Clackamas, Oregon. Raised in Portland by Indian American parents, Aparna's passion for the arts emerged at an early age. She immersed herself in music, dance, and theater classes, excelling in the traditional Indian dance form, Bharatanatyam. Despite her love for dance, her true dream was to act in Disney productions.
Education and Career Beginnings
In her teenage years, Aparna shifted her focus to theater and attended the Oregon Center for the Performing Arts. She then studied marketing at Linfield College before pursuing acting full-time. Her first on-screen role came in the 2011 short film "Dinner with Wendy."
Television Breakthrough
Aparna's television debut occurred in 2014 with a guest appearance on the series "Grimm." She then landed recurring roles in "The Librarians" and "A.P. Bio," where she portrayed the ambitious Sharica Sarkar. Inspired by Reese Witherspoon's Tracy Flick character in "Election," Aparna imbued Sharica with a complex and unforgettable personality.
