1981-1986: Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Armenian Agricultural Institute.

1986: Began working as an economist at the State Committee of Statistics of the Armenian SSR.
Participated in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Media and Political Involvement in the United States1992: Moved to the United States and founded the newspaper "Sharjum".

1994-1995: Served as Deputy Head of the Internal Troops Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
