Early Life and EducationBorn on February 10, 1995, in London, Archie Madekwe grew up in a multicultural family. His father's Nigerian heritage and mother's English roots shaped his childhood. Madekwe's film debut came in 2014 with a minor role in "Catastrophe." While simultaneously working for the National Youth Theatre in London, he waited for his television break. In 2018, his performance in the play "Goat, or Who is Sylvia?" caught the attention of casting agents, leading him to a role in Max Minghella's musical drama "Teen Spirit."
In 2019, Madekwe landed a pivotal role in the Apple TV+ series "See," alongside Jason Momoa, Sylvia Hoeks, and Hera Hilmar. He portrayed Kofun, a boy with the ability to see despite the blindness afflicting most members of the Alkenny tribe.
