Early Life and Education
Born in Brazil, Fábio César Cohen is a renowned pianist, violinist, and educator. He holds degrees in piano and violin from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where his esteemed instructors included Arnaldo Estrela and Jacques Klein.
Musical Career
Accolades and International PerformancesCohen's virtuosity on the violin earned him a place in the Rio de Janeiro Opera Orchestra. As a pianist, he participated in numerous international competitions, earning first prizes at the Beethoven Competition (1970) and the Busoni Competition (1972).
Residency in London
In 1981, Cohen moved to London and joined the faculty of the Royal Academy of Music. During his time there, he became a respected professor of piano.

In 2004, Cohen relocated to the United States, where he currently serves as a Professor of Piano at Indiana University.
