Biography of Arne Naess
Arne Naess, a Norwegian scientist and talented philosopher, was born on January 27, 1912, in Oslo, the capital of Norway. From a young age, he was concerned with various issues related to ecology and the preservation of life on Earth. After receiving his education in Vienna and Paris, Naess graduated from the University of Oslo and became the youngest professor at the university at the age of 27.

Naess was a multidisciplinary scholar who possessed extensive knowledge in the fields of natural science and ecology. He made numerous discoveries in the areas of philosophy and logistics. The Norwegian scientist even established several scientific journals that published the latest news and achievements in various scientific disciplines.
Over time, Naess developed a passionate interest in mountaineering. He became a pioneer in reaching the summit of Tirich Mir, a peak located in Pakistan, which stands at an altitude of over 7,000 meters above sea level.
Arne Naess passed on his knowledge to his students, including his nephew, Arne Naess Jr. (1937-2004), who became a renowned mountaineer and successful businessman.
Naess authored numerous scientific works, one of which, published in 1950, was titled "Interpretation and Precision." In this work, the ecologist from Oslo examined issues related to language usage and various interpretations of it.
Naess believed that every living being on our planet has an equal right to exist, whether it be a human or a tiny insect. This perspective resonated with a large number of supporters who continue Naess's work to this day.
The brilliant scientist of the 20th century passed away on January 12, 2009, just shy of his 97th birthday.
