Early Life and Childhood
Arsen Mukendi was born in 1991 in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, during a period of significant support from the Soviet Union to African liberation movements. Growing up in a musical household with a father who was a conductor and a mother who was a singer, Arsen developed a passion for music from a young age. He sang in the church choir and played sports such as football and basketball.
Arrival in Russia and Education
In 2011, Arsen left his home country to pursue higher education in Russia, eventually graduating from the Economic Faculty of Ivanovo State Agricultural Academy. Despite his academic training, Arsen found himself more drawn to music.
Musical Career
In the city of Ivanovo, Arsen began to showcase his musical talents. He was discovered by a music instructor while participating in an event for freshmen and invited to join the city's Cultural Center. Arsen's exceptional vocals and stage presence earned him recognition in several competitions, including Mr. Ivanovo (2013), Student Spring (2013), and the Open Festival of Student Creativity (2014).
"X-Factor" and "The Voice"
Arsen's music career gained national prominence when he participated in the Russian version of "X-Factor" in 2015, emerging victorious through online voting. His success continued with his appearance on the eighth season of "The Voice" in 2019, where he performed a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" during the "blind auditions."
Personal Life
Arsen is known for being private about his personal life. However, he has revealed that he is married and expecting his first child. He frequently shares photos of his nephews on social media.

Arsen is fluent in English, French, and Russian, demonstrating his remarkable language abilities. Despite his cultural differences, he has embraced Russian customs and traditions, including trying vodka (although he claims to dislike it).
