Early Life and Career
Absamat Duisheev was a distinguished Soviet and Kyrgyz party and state official. He was born in 1932 and received a higher education, graduating from the Kyrgyz Institute of Agriculture named after K.I. Skryabin in 1954. He earned a Candidate of Veterinary Sciences degree in 1970.
Veterinary and Agricultural Service
Duisheev began his career in the agricultural sector. From 1954, he served as the chief veterinary doctor of the "Ton" state farm in the Ton district of Issyk-Kul Oblast. In 1957, he became the director of the "Djumgal" state farm in the Kyrgyz SSR.
Political Career
In 1960, Duisheev transitioned to party work. He held positions as a secretary of the district party committee and as a responsible organizer in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan. From 1962 to 1968, he served as the first secretary of the Uzgen district committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.

In 1968, Duisheev became a secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan. In 1971, he was appointed first secretary of the Issyk-Kul regional party committee.
Führungspositionen der Regierung
Duisheev rose to prominent positions in the government of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1979, he became Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR and concurrently Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from April 1979 to June 1981. From 1981 to 1986, he served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Nach seinem Ausscheiden aus der Regierung wurde Duisheev 1986 Direktor des Kyrgyzischen Forschungsinstituts für Veterinärmedizin.
Partei- und Parlamentsmitgliedschaften
Duisheev war Mitglied der Kommunistischen Partei der Sowjetunion (KPdSU) seit 1957. Von 1981 bis 1986 war er Kandidat für das Zentralkomitee der KPdSU. Er war außerdem Abgeordneter des Rates der Union des Obersten Sowjets der UdSSR in der 9., 10. und 11. Wahlperiode.
Ehrungen und Vermächtnis
Absamat Duisheev wurde mit dem Orden der Oktoberrevolution und drei Orden des Roten Banners der Arbeit ausgezeichnet. Ein ländlicher Bezirk in seiner Heimat im Bezirk Kemin der Region Chuy trägt seinen Namen.
