Early Life and Education
Artem Dekhtiarenko was born on November 2, 1990, in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He received his higher education, completing his studies at an undisclosed university.
Journalistic Career
Dekhtiarenko's journalistic career commenced with "Kommersant-Ukraine." Subsequently, he worked for the online publication "Apostrof."
Press Service Roles
From 2016 to 2019, Dekhtiarenko held various positions within the press service of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Office of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. He ascended through the ranks, culminating in his role as Deputy Head of the Department of Interaction in the Sphere of Public Communications.
Political Aspirations
In 2019, Dekhtiarenko ran for office under the "Groyman's Ukrainian Strategy" political party.
Ministry of Social Policy
From September 2019 to March 2020, Dekhtiarenko served as an advisor for media, communications reform, and PR to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Yulia Sokolovska. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of a new brand and logo for the ministry and launched its presence on Telegram and Twitter.
Ministry of Health
Within the government of Denys Shmyhal, Dekhtiarenko contributed to the Ministry of Health, initially as an advisor to Ilia Yemets and later to Maksym Stepanov. As a representative of the ministry, he orchestrated the "Ukraine NOW" brand and the governmental communication strategy, "United Voice."
Leadership in Press Service
Dekhtiarenko's leadership extended to introducing daily briefings by Maksym Stepanov, initiating the "Support for Doctors" campaign, and establishing the "Coronavirus.info" Telegram channel and Viber community. On February 1, 2021, he was appointed Head of the Department for Interaction with Mass Media and Public Relations, becoming the official representative of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Personal Life
On October 14, 2023, Artem Dekhtiarenko married Anastasia Noritsyna, a host on "24 Kanal."
