Political and Entrepreneurial Career

Arvils Ašeradens is a prominent Latvian political figure and entrepreneur. He has served as Minister of Economics of Latvia and is a member of the Unity party.

Legislative Tenure

Ašeradens was elected to the 8th Saeima (parliament) in 2002. He was re-elected in 2006, but resigned his parliamentary seat in 2009 upon his appointment as Minister of Economics. He served in this capacity under the first two governments led by Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Aside from his political career, Ašeradens is a successful entrepreneur. He is the former director of the companies "Ronis" and "Grands."

Education

Ašeradens graduated from the Riga Technical University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
