Artak Bakhchinyan is an acclaimed scholar with diverse accomplishments as an armenologist, film critic, historian, and translator. He holds a Candidate of Philological Sciences degree and is affiliated with the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenian Heritage Studies

Bakhchinyan's primary research focus revolves around the contributions of Armenians to global civilization. He actively collaborates with academic publications and news outlets in Armenia, Russia, the United States, and beyond, contributing to a deeper understanding of the Armenian diaspora.

International Collaborations

As the Armenian representative of the "Armenological Annual of Haygazian" (Beirut) and the "Orer" (Prague) journal, Bakhchinyan serves as a bridge between Armenian studies worldwide. Notably, he published the seminal biographical reference book "Armenians by Origin" in 1993.

Film Expertise

Since 2001, Bakhchinyan has served as Vice President of the Armenian branch of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
