Teaching and Scholarship
In 1875, Lange embarked on a pedagogical journey to Russia, where he taught classical languages for two years. His profound knowledge and passion for ancient literature earned him recognition and respect within academic circles.
Diplomatic Service
From 1887 to 1906, Lange served as the Danish consul in Moscow. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening relations between Denmark and Russia.
