Early Life and Successes

Born and raised in Latvia, Neyzhmakhs began playing chess at a young age.He quickly gained attention for his exceptional skills, winning the Baltic Junior Championship in Tallinn in 2001 and the Aivars Gipslis Memorial in 2002.

International Recognition and Titles

In 2001, Neyzhmakhs achieved the title of International Master.A decade later, he earned the prestigious title of Grandmaster in 2012. Neyzhmakhs has also been a certified FIDE Trainer since 2012.

National Dominance

Neyzhmakhs has been a dominant force in Latvian chess.He has won the Latvian Chess Championship four times, in 1999, 2011, 2015, and 2019.

Olympic Representation

Neyzhmakhs has represented Latvia at six Chess Olympiads.He has played on various boards over the years, including the third board in 2012 and 2014 and the second board in 2018.

European Championship Participation

Neyzhmakhs has also represented Latvia at the European Team Chess Championship.He played on the fourth board in 1999 and the third board in 2011 and 2015.

Coaching Accomplishments

As a trainer, Neyzhmakhs became the first Latvian to earn the FIDE Trainer title in 2012.He has conducted seminars and training sessions, sharing his expertise with aspiring chess players.
