Freestyle Skiing Career
Ashley Caldwell is an American freestyle skier who competes in aerials. She has won the World Championships, placed first and medaled in World Cup events, and earned the small Crystal Globe in the aerials standings.

Early Career
Caldwell debuted with the U.S. national freestyle skiing team in 2007. In 2009, she won two North American Cup events, earning her a spot on the World Cup team. She made her World Cup debut on January 10, 2010, finishing 11th in Calgary.
Olympic Debut and Rise
At just 16 years old, Caldwell competed in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She qualified for the finals with a 12th-place finish and placed 10th overall. In the 2010/11 season, she clinched her first World Cup victory in Lake Placid and made her World Championships debut, finishing fourth.
More Success and Olympic Disappointment
At her second Olympics in 2014, Caldwell won the qualification round, becoming the only athlete to score over 100 points. However, she crashed in the first final round and finished 10th. At the 2015 World Championships, she came close to a medal but placed fourth.
World Cup Triumph
In the 2015/16 season, Caldwell achieved two victories and two podium finishes. These results propelled her to win the World Cup Crystal Globe in aerials and finish fourth in the overall standings.
