Early Life and Career
Born in Belarus, Alexei Grishin began his career as a skier in 1995. He became an instructor at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus in 1998.
Olympic Success
Grishin's Olympic debut came at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, where he placed 8th. He achieved his first major international success at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, winning a bronze medal in aerials.
World Champion and Sportsman of the Year
In 2001, Grishin claimed the world championship title in Whistler-Blackcomb, Canada. The following year, he earned a silver medal at the World Championships and was named Belarus's Sportsman of the Year.
