In 2014, Biylon's hard work paid off when she triumphed at the World Amateur Boxing Championships in the 69-kilogram weight class. This remarkable achievement marked a turning point in her career, establishing her as one of the world's top female boxers.

Biylon made her Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games. However, her Olympic journey began with a bitter loss in her opening bout to Brazilian native Andressa Bandeira.

Undeterred by her setback, Biylon returned to the Olympic stage in Tokyo 2020. Alongside sprinter Alonso Edward, she carried the Panamanian flag during the opening ceremony. In the 75-kilogram tournament, she narrowly missed out on a medal after losing to eventual gold medalist Lauren Price of Great Britain in the quarterfinals.
Triumph in Paris
Biylon's third Olympic appearance proved to be her most successful. At the Paris 2024 Games, she navigated to the final of the 75-kilogram weight class, where she ultimately settled for silver after a hard-fought loss to China's Li Qian.

Biylon's Olympic silver medal holds immense significance for Panama. It represents the country's fourth Olympic medal overall and its first outside of track and field. Moreover, it marks the first time a Panamanian woman has achieved an Olympic podium finish.
