Early Life and Military Career

Rubin Beg Vezirovwas born into a noble family in Shusha, Azerbaijan. He joined the Russian Army as a private in the 43rd Dragoon Tver Regiment. In 1888, he enrolled in the Elisavetgrad Cavalry School, graduating in 1892 with the rank of esstandard-junker.

Service in the Russian Army

Promoted to cornet in 1893, Vezirov served in the reserve. In 1901, he became adjutant to the Dagestan Horse Regiment and subsequently rose through the ranks to become a captain in 1909. He also held various assignments within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including senior officer for assignments under the Baku Governor.

Service in the Azerbaijani Army

With the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918, Vezirov served as the military commander of Ganja. In 1919, he was appointed commandant of Baku and promoted to colonel.

Service in the Red Army

After the collapse of the Azerbaijani Republic, Vezirov joined the Red Army. However, his exact role and fate within the Red Army are unclear.

Awards and Recognition

Vezirov received the Order of Saint Stanislaus, 3rd degree (1905) and the Order of Saint Anna, 3rd degree (1909) for his military service.

Later Years and Legacy

Rubin Beg Vezirov died in Qazvin, Persia (now Iran), at an unknown date. He was the father of prominent Soviet statesman and oil industry expert Suleyman Vezirov.
