Early Life and Education

Aziz Abdukhakharovich Sultanov was born on December 15, 1997, in Taraz, Kazakhstan, to Uzbek parents. Growing up in a working-class family in Surgut, Russia, he displayed early artistic talents, particularly in hip-hop and foreign languages. After graduating from high school, he pursued a degree in linguistics and intercultural communication at Surgut State Pedagogical University, specializing in foreign language teaching. In 2021, he completed his undergraduate studies and enrolled in a master's program in theory and methodology of foreign language and culture teaching.

Creative Pursuits

Despite his academic pursuits, Sultanov's passion for the arts remained strong. He delved into internet marketing, following in the footsteps of his successful older brother. However, his heart belonged to music. In his early twenties, he began writing rap tracks with his friend Anton Volkov. Although their initial recordings lacked polish, they eventually released them on digital platforms.

Music Collaboration and Performance

Sultanov collaborated with Yekaterinburg rapper INH4LE on the 2021 album "CRUSHTEST," showcasing a blend of melodic tunes and raw lyrics. Despite receiving some positive feedback, the album failed to achieve commercial success. However, organizing and performing at hip-hop events ignited Sultanov's enthusiasm. He performed at local cultural centers and student festivals, but his efforts to break into the mainstream remained unfulfilled.

Film Breakthrough

Unbeknownst to him, fate had a different plan. In early 2022, director Stanislav Kryuchkov approached Sultanov to star in his upcoming crime drama "The Rapper." Having never considered acting, Sultanov initially hesitated. However, the film's themes of hip-hop aspirations resonated with him, and he accepted. The film, featuring mostly non-professional actors, captured the essence of authenticity and premiered in over 90 cities in Russia, marking a significant breakthrough for the Surgut team.

Personal Life

Sultanov maintains a private personal life, sharing only glimpses of his family on social media. He remains close to his three brothers, who pursue their own successful careers. His family bonds are strong, and they enjoy spending time together, particularly during summer vacations in their ancestral homeland of Kazakhstan.
