Biography of Kirstie Alley
Kirstie Alley was born on January 12, 1955. She studied drama in her hometown of Kansas and later worked as an interior decorator. She then struggled with a passion for bikers and cocaine, but when that lifestyle became outdated, she moved to California, recovered from drug addiction, and became interested in Scientology.

Acting Career
Kirstie made her film debut in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" where she played a student of Spock. She later appeared in the lead role in the television miniseries "North and South", but gained recognition when she replaced Shelley Long in the TV series "Cheers" in the late 80s. The series made Alley one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood and earned her several prestigious awards. After leaving television, Kirstie's career became uneven and chaotic, which was disappointing as she possesses undeniable comedic and dramatic talent.
