Beatrix von Storch is a German politician, lobbyist, blogger, and lawyer from the House of Oldenburg.

Family and Early Life

Her paternal grandfather was Nikolaus von Oldenburg, and her maternal grandfather was Ludwig Schwerin von Krosigk, a Nazi politician who served as head of the Flensburg Government. He was also the grandnephew of Karl Marx's wife.

Political Career

Von Storch joined the Free Democratic Party in 2011 and later became a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), which was founded in 2013. In 2015, she was elected vice-chairman of the party.

From July 2014 to November 2017, von Storch was a Member of the European Parliament from Germany. She is part of the European Christian Political Movement.

Conservative Views

Von Storch is known for her conservative views on gender roles and the traditional family. She opposes same-sex marriage and advocates for a traditional Christian society.
