Biography of Bedros Kirkorov
Bedros Kirkorov is a Bulgarian, Soviet, and Russian singer, and the father of Philipp Kirkorov. He started his singing career in a choir, where his unique voice earned him the nickname "trumpet" among his peers. He later served in a military ensemble during his time in the army. In Bulgaria, Bedros caught the attention of composer Arno Babajanyan, who invited him to Moscow to pursue a musical education.

Currently, Bedros and his second wife, Lyudmila, own a farm in the Novgorod region. He frequently accompanies his son, Philipp, on tour and continues to perform solo concerts. Bedros is also actively involved in public activities and charity work.

Bedros completed his technical school education as a shoemaker-designer by the age of 17. He then went on to graduate from a music school. In 1962, he moved to Moscow and enrolled in the second year of the GITIS (Russian Institute of Theatre Arts) in the class of Professor B.A. Pokrovsky.
Bedros Kirkorov's father, Philipp, worked as a shoemaker, and his mother, Sofia, was a homemaker. He also has a sister named Mari, who is an opera singer, and a brother named Harry, who is a businessman.
Bedros was married to Victoria Markovna Likhachyova from 1964 to 1994. They met in Sochi in 1964 and got married later that year. After Victoria's death in 1994, Bedros went through a period of depression and temporarily stopped his performing career.
Bedros and Victoria have a son named Philipp Kirkorov, who is a well-known singer, actor, composer, and producer. Bedros has a tradition of gifting horses to Philipp on his birthdays as a symbol of his hard work. They have also collaborated on musical projects throughout the years.
In 1997, Bedros married Lyudmila Smirnova, a doctor of economics and a teacher at an institute. They met in 1992 during his tours in the Holm district of the Novgorod region. They got married in March 1997 and currently live near Veliky Novgorod.
Bedros and Lyudmila have a daughter named Ksenia, who unfortunately passed away at the age of two weeks due to a medical error.
