Early Life and EducationJeffrey Bean was born in Haynesville, Louisiana in 1927. He initially pursued a medical degree at the University of New Orleans before abandoning it to pursue a passion for window dressing.
Training in Paris
In 1948, Bean embarked on a journey to Paris, where he honed his skills at a prestigious art school and worked as an assistant tailor at the renowned House of Molyneux.
Return to the United States
Upon his return to the United States in 1952, Bean gained experience in New York fashion houses. In 1963, he established his own design firm.
