Benjamin Kigen, born on July 5, 1993, in Kenya's Baringo County, began his training under the guidance of Amos Kirui and coach Isaac Rono. In 2017, he made a name for himself, finishing sixth at the Van Damme Memorial in Belgium and fourth in Monaco.
