Benjamin Pavard: A French Defender's Journey
Early Life and Football BeginningsBenjamin Pavard was born in Maubeuge, France, on March 28, 1996. His passion for football ignited at the young age of six, where he honed his skills in his hometown. At nine, Pavard joined the renowned academy of Lille, where he excelled and graduated in 2015.
Professional Debut with Lille
In 2014, Pavard began his professional career with Lille's second team. He made his debut on August 30, 2014, against Arras and went on to play 19 matches over the next two seasons. Despite limited playing time in his debut season, Pavard gradually established himself as a valuable player in the 2015/2016 season. He played in 13 matches, primarily as a substitute, providing solid cover for the injured first-team regulars.

International Success
