Biography of Biagio Antonacci
Biagio Antonacci, an Italian singer and songwriter, was born on September 1, 1963 in Milan, Italy. He began learning music at a young age and played drums. In 1988, Antonacci participated in the 38th Sanremo Music Festival, where he performed the song "Voglio vivere in un attimo". By 1989, he had signed a record deal to release his debut album titled "Sono cose che capitano". Two years later, his second album, "Adagio Biagio", was released. Two songs from the album, "Danza sul mio petto" and "Però ti amo", gained him some success and received radio airplay.

However, Antonacci did not achieve significant success despite the initial interest in his first two albums. He realized that if he did not take significant steps to advance his career soon, he would fade into obscurity, making it incredibly difficult to regain any substantial popularity. In 1992, he took a risk and released his third album, "Liberatemi", and embarked on a nationwide tour to promote it. Antonacci also participated in the Festivalbar music festival. This turned out to be a successful move, finally bringing him the deserved attention. "Liberatemi" sold reasonably well, with 150,000 copies of the album being sold.

In 1993, Antonacci embarked on another extensive tour of Italy and participated in the Sanremo Music Festival again, this time with the song "Non so più a chi credere". On September 1, 2005, he received the award for "Best-selling Italian Artist" in Hollywood for his album "Convivendo", which had sold over a million copies. His latest album, "Inaspettata", was released in 2010.

In addition to music, Antonacci's other passion in life is football. He is married to Marianna Morandi, the daughter of renowned Italian singer Gianni Morandi, and they have two sons together.
