William Frederick Burr
Early Life and EducationWilliam Frederick Burr was born in Canton, Massachusetts, in 1968, to Linda Ann Wigent and Robert Edmund Burr. With four brothers and one sister, Burr's upbringing was filled with Irish and German heritage. After graduating high school in 1987, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting from Emerson College in Boston, completing it in 1993.
Comedy Career
Burr's comedic journey began in 1992, and in 1994, he relocated to New York City to further develop his career. His breakthrough role came in 1996 with the sitcom "Townies," followed by various guest appearances in shows such as "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and the film "Perfect Form." In 2004, he appeared on three episodes of Dave Chappelle's show.
Podcasting and Stand-Up
Beyond acting, Burr ventured into podcasting with "The Monday Morning Podcast with Bill Burr" in 2007, where he discusses current events and engages with listeners. He later partnered with comedian Bert Kreischer to launch "The Bill Bert Podcast" in 2019.
Since 2008, Burr has released several critically acclaimed stand-up comedy specials, including "Why Do I Do This?," "Let It Go," "You People Are All the Same," "I'm Sorry You Feel That Way," "Walk Your Way Out," and "Paper Tiger." Acting Roles
Apart from his comedy career, Burr has made notable appearances in film and television. In the hit series "Breaking Bad," he portrayed Patrick Kuby, a henchman of attorney Saul Goodman. Personal Life
Burr married screenwriter Nia Rene Hill in 2013, and they welcomed a daughter, Lola, in 2017, and a son in 2020. The family resides in Los Angeles. Burr is an avid outdoorsman with a pilot's license for helicopters, and he enjoys playing drums and listening to heavy metal bands like AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
