Early Life and Education
William Henry Hader Jr. was born on June 7, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Raised in Oklahoma, he attended the Art Institute of Phoenix and Scottsdale Community College after graduating high school.

Comedy Career
Driven by his comedic talent and ambition, Hader moved to Los Angeles and joined the "Second City" troupe, a renowned launchpad for future "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) cast members. He also performed at "iO West" while working as a production assistant on documentaries, reality TV shows, and as a field agent for MTV's "Punk'd."

"Saturday Night Live" and Beyond
In October 2005, Hader made his SNL debut after being introduced to producer Lorne Michaels by Megan Mullally. He became a featured cast member, cementing his status as one of only six performers to join the show after its 1975 premiere. Hader's memorable impersonations include Al Pacino, Eliot Spitzer, and NBC anchor Keith Morrison.

Film Success
Outside of SNL, Hader's film career blossomed. He made his debut in "You, Me and Dupree" (2006) alongside Owen Wilson and went on to appear in comedies such as "Knocked Up" (2007), "Superbad" (2007), "Pineapple Express" (2008), and "Adventureland" (2009). In "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" (2009), he portrayed General Custer.

Voice Acting and Animation
Hader has lent his voice to numerous animated projects, including "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" (2009), "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (2009), and "Shrek Forever After" (2010). He also served as a creative consultant for "South Park" seasons 12-13 and produced the show from season 13 onwards, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program in 2009.

Personal Life
Hader married writer Maggie Carey in 2006. The couple welcomed their first child in September 2009.
