Biography of Boris Bystrov
Boris Bystrov is a Russian actor who made his debut in the film "The Magic Lamp of Aladdin" (1966), based on the collection of Arabian tales "One Thousand and One Nights". He graduated from the School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre and became an actor at the Moscow Theatre Center named after M.N. Ermolova. He has performed in various plays such as "Balls and Passions of St. Petersburg", "The Captives", "Betrayal", "How I Loved You!", and "Predator", and he remains a leading actor at this theater to this day.
Early Career
Boris Bystrov made his debut in the film industry with the role of Aladdin in "The Magic Lamp of Aladdin" (1966). The film was directed by Boris Rytsarev and featured some of the best Soviet actors of that time, including Georgy Millar, Emmanuil Geller, and Valentin Bryleev. The role of Princess Budur was played by young actress Dodo Chogovadze. The film became a part of the "golden fund" of Soviet cinema and is considered one of the best films for children. Following this success, Boris Bystrov appeared in small roles in several other films, including the sports film "Strike! Another Strike!" and the children's musical comedy "The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase".
Later Career
In the 80s and 90s, Boris Bystrov appeared in films less frequently. One of his notable roles during this period was the lead role in Natalia Kirakozova's drama "The Wild Beach" (1990). In 1997, after a long hiatus, he was invited by director Yuri Muzhikov to play one of the main roles in the romantic action film "Deserter". Since the 70s, Boris Bystrov has been involved in dubbing animated films and providing voiceovers for foreign films. He dubbed several characters in "The Godfather" (parts 1 and 2) and voiced the full-length animated film "The Underwater Berets" (1990). In the animated series "The Simpsons" and "Futurama", he provided the voices for all male characters.
Personal Life
Boris Bystrov's first wife was the once-popular actress Inna Kmit (daughter of actor Leonid Kmit, famous for his role as Petka in the film "Chapaev"). Inna Kmit is known to audiences for her role in Vladimir Polyakov's lyrical comedy "She Loves You". In the mid-70s, she left the film industry and transitioned to television, but her fragile health did not allow her to live long. Boris Bystrov and Inna Kmit have a daughter named Ekaterina Kmit, who also became an actress and has appeared in films such as "Hunting the Pimp", "Beyond the Last Line", and the series "Transit for the Devil". Boris Bystrov's second wife was the renowned ballerina Tatiana Leibel, although their marriage was short-lived. Currently, Boris Bystrov is married to actress Irina Savina, and they have a son named Nikolay, who has already started voicing several films at the age of 12.
