Biography of Boris Markevich
Boris Markevich is a renowned artist known for his skills in graphic design, drawing, watercolor painting, and illustration. He was born in 1925 in Kharkiv and later studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute from 1943 to 1945, followed by the Moscow Surikov Institute of Art from 1945 to 1949. Currently, he resides and works in Moscow, Russia.
Markevich is a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation and has been participating in exhibitions since 1956. He has been awarded numerous prizes and diplomas for his contributions to book and print graphics exhibitions. His expertise in print graphics primarily focuses on still life and landscape genres.
The artistic style of Markevich is characterized by almost sculptural precision and a harmonious representation of the world. His works exhibit a refined and cohesive approach to form, reflecting the artist's deep understanding and perception of the surrounding environment.
