Early Life and Education
Born into a Ukrainian family in 1930, Boris Vintenko's early life was marked by a move to Kirovohrad. His passion for art emerged, and he enrolled in the Odessa State Art College in 1948, where he studied under renowned artists such as E.O. Bukovetsky, T.B. Fraerman, and M.A. Pavliuk.
Artistic Career
Return to KirovohradUpon graduating in 1948, Vintenko returned to his hometown of Kirovohrad, where he spent the next three years as the head of the art club at the regional Palace of Pioneers. In 1951, he joined the Kirovohrad Society of Artists, where he worked until 1963.
Workshop Painter
In 1963, Vintenko became a painter for the Kirovohrad Art and Production Workshops. He remained in this role until 1987, contributing to the production of artistic works for the region.
Exhibitions and Creative Groups
From 1969 onwards, Vintenko actively participated in numerous national and regional art exhibitions. His solo exhibitions in Kirovohrad showcased his unique artistic vision. He also played a prominent role in creative groups such as the "Sednev" Republican House of Creativity.
Artistic Style
Impressionistic InspirationsVintenko's artistic style was heavily influenced by Impressionism. He developed his distinctive "flickering" painting technique, characterized by shimmering, silver-toned landscapes with sweeping horizons, towering poplars and willows, rainbows over water, and vast fields.

The artist's primary focus was on capturing the essence of the Ukrainian steppe. His landscapes are characterized by their multi-layered compositions and spatial depth, capturing the vastness and serenity of the Ukrainian countryside.
