Brett Edward Kelly was born on October 30, 1993, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He grew up in a family with his parents Edward and Susan Kelly, and a younger sister, Jacklyn. At a young age, Brett began his acting career by starring in a Huggies diapers commercial. He attended St. Thomas More Collegiate, a Catholic school in Burnaby, British Columbia, where he completed his high school education. Currently, Brett resides in Surrey, British Columbia.

Early Career

In 2001, at the age of eight, Brett made his film debut in the American thriller "Kill Me Later" as an unnamed boy. That same year, he appeared in the television film "Ladies and the Champ" and the sports comedy "Out Cold" about extreme snowboarders. Over the course of nine years, Brett has played a total of 17 roles, primarily in the United States. Notable works include his role in the popular series "Dead Like Me," as well as films such as "The Sandlot 2" (2005), "Like Mike 2: Streetball" (2006), and "Unaccompanied Minors" (2006). In 2010, he portrayed Martin Gordon in the film "High School."
