Brock Radunske: Canadian-South Korean Ice Hockey Player

Brock Radunske is a Canadian-South Korean professional ice hockey player who currently plays for Anyang Halla of the Asia League Ice Hockey (ALIH). He is primarily a left-winger.

Early Career and NHL Draft

Radunske began his junior career with the Aurora Tigers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in 2000-01, scoring six goals in 42 games. The following season, he moved to the Newmarket Hurricanes in the OHL. In 2001, he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round (79th overall) of the NHL Entry Draft.

North American and European Minor Leagues

From 2001 to 2004, Radunske played for the Michigan State University Spartans. After graduating, he joined the Trenton Titans of the ECHL in 2005 and played in the league until 2007. In 2007-08, he ventured to Europe, spending one season with Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), where he scored seven goals in 37 games.

Asia League Ice Hockey

In 2008, Radunske moved to the ALIH, joining the South Korean club Anyang Halla. He has been a key player for the team, contributing to their success in the league.

International Hockey

Radunske has represented South Korea at three World Championships. In 2013, he helped Korea place 5th in Division IA, scoring three goals and adding two assists. In 2014, Korea finished last in Division IA and was relegated to Division IB. Radunske notched three goals and three assists in the tournament. In 2015, Korea won Division IB and returned to Division IA. Radunske contributed seven assists during the tournament.
