She started synchronized swimming at the age of ten when her parents happened to witness a selection process for girls in the sport. With their mutual agreement, they added their daughter's name to the list, and since then, she became a true fan and a talented athlete in the field. Soon, she joined the Riverside Aquettes club and began climbing the ladder of her sports career.

In 2006, Brooke Abel turned into a competitive and strong individual, becoming the only swimmer who qualified for both the junior and senior national teams. Moreover, in the same year, she graduated from high school and received her first significant diploma.
