Early Life and Military ServiceBruce Glover was born in Chicago, Illinois, into a family with English, Czech, and Swedish ancestry. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955, spending six months in Korea.
Career
Television BeginningsGlover's acting career commenced on television, with roles in episodes of "Perry Mason," "My Favorite Martian," and "The Rat Patrol." He gained further recognition in "The Mod Squad," "Adam-12," and "Bonanza."
Breakout Role in "Diamonds Are Forever"
In 1971, Glover's portrayal of Mr. Wint, a gay assassin in "Diamonds Are Forever," garnered him considerable attention. That same year, he starred as a nefarious redneck in "Bless the Beasts & Children."
