Early Life and Education
Jerry Colangelo Jr. was born as the son of sports magnate Jerry Colangelo. He attended Cornell University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
NBA Career
Colangelo's NBA career began with the Phoenix Suns, a team owned by his father. He spent 15 years with the Suns, including 11 as general manager.
Success with the Philadelphia 76ers
In 2005 and 2007, Colangelo was named NBA Executive of the Year. He became president and general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers, where he implemented a successful rebuilding plan.
