Early Life and Education
Brian Greenberg was born on May 24, 1978, in Nebraska, to Denny and Carla Greenberg, who were psychologists. Raised in a Conservative Jewish household, the family relocated to St. Louis when Greenberg was 12. There, he attended high school and developed an interest in theatre.
Journey to New York and Acting Debut
After graduating high school in 1993, Greenberg moved to New York to pursue an acting education at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He studied drama and fine arts and participated actively in theatre productions, including playing Romeo in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."
Initial Roles and Breakthrough
In 1997, Greenberg made his television debut in a minor role on "Law & Order." His fresh face caught the attention of casting directors, and he soon appeared in the 1998 film "A Civil Action" as an FBI agent.
Hollywood Breakthrough
Greenberg's career gained momentum in 2003 when he landed a significant role in the film "The Perfect Score." He went on to star in "Prime" (2005) alongside Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman, and in "Nobel Son" (2007).
