Early Life and Education

Çağatay Ulusoy was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 24, 1990. His mother is of Bosnian descent and his father is of Bulgarian descent. Çağatay has a younger brother named Ataalay. From an early age, he showed promise in sports, particularly basketball. Despite his athletic abilities, friends and family encouraged him to pursue a career in acting or modeling.

After graduating high school, Çağatay enrolled in the Landscape Architecture program at a local university. However, he never abandoned his passion for the performing arts. He attended acting classes at a theater school and soon after, his modeling career took off.

Modeling Career

In 2010, Çağatay signed with a modeling agency and quickly rose through the ranks. At the age of 20, he won the "Best Model of Turkey" competition, launching his modeling career on an international level. Despite his busy acting schedule, Çağatay continues to work as a model.

Acting Career

Çağatay's acting debut came in 2010 with a minor role in the third season of the comedy series "Recep İvedik." His first major role was in the 2011 film "Anatolian Eagles," where he played a fearless Turkish Air Force pilot.

Çağatay gained widespread recognition after starring in the romantic drama series "Adını Feriha Koydum" (2011-2012). His portrayal of Emir Sarrafoğlu, a wealthy young man who falls in love with a working-class girl, made him a household name in Turkey and beyond.

Following the success of "Adını Feriha Koydum," Çağatay landed several lead roles in popular Turkish series, including "Lightning Strikes the House" and "Emir's Path."

International Recognition

In 2013, Çağatay starred in the hit series "Medcezir," which gained a large following in Turkey and abroad. He played Aras, a young man who is torn between two worlds: the wealthy elite and the underprivileged neighborhood where he grew up.

Çağatay's international fame reached new heights when he was cast as Sultan Osman II in the historical drama series "Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem" (2015-2016). The series, a sequel to the highly-acclaimed "Muhteşem Yüzyıl," showcased Çağatay's versatility and acting range.

Recent Projects

In 2016, Çağatay starred in the crime thriller series "İçerde," which was loosely based on the film "The Departed." He played Yusuf, an undercover police officer who infiltrated a dangerous crime syndicate.

Recently, Çağatay has been announced as the lead actor in a forthcoming Turkish superhero series that will be produced by Netflix. The series is expected to premiere in 2023.

Personal Life

Çağatay Ulusoy is not married and has no plans to tie the knot anytime soon. He is currently focused on his acting career and maintaining his physical and mental well-being.
