Genesis Rodriguez is an American actress best known for her roles in Telemundo TV series 'Prisionera', 'Dame Chocolate', and 'Doña Bárbara'. She has also appeared on American television in the series 'Days of our Lives' as Becky Ferrer.

Early Life and Education
Genesis Rodriguez was born on July 29, 1987, in Miami, Florida. Her mother, Carolina Pérez, was a Cuban model, and her father, José Luis Rodríguez, was a successful Venezuelan actor and singer. Rodriguez is fluent in both English and Spanish. At the age of 2 and a half, Rodriguez enrolled in a school in Miami and also attended special courses at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institutes during the summer. She actively participated in local theater productions at her school and developed a strong desire to become an actress at a young age.

Career
As a teenager, Rodriguez continued her education in various theater, dance, and vocal courses at both local and national institutions. Her parents fully supported her aspiration to become a professional actress. With their help, Rodriguez traveled to New York and studied at several educational institutions in California. Upon returning to Miami, she continued attending private courses and landed a recurring role in the American television show 'Days of our Lives' from November 2005 to January 2006. In 2010, Rodriguez had a small role in the film 'Entourage'. While she is not widely known on English-language American television, she has gained popularity among Spanish-speaking Americans through her active participation in Telemundo projects such as 'Prisionera', 'Dame Chocolate', and 'Doña Bárbara'. In 2012, she appeared in three feature films: 'Man on a Ledge', 'What to Expect When You're Expecting', and 'Last Stand'. Rodriguez shows no signs of slowing down, and her list of roles is likely to continue growing in the future.
